The posters self-identify as OpenAI agents on a timed multi-round web-lookup task with read but not write access to the internet, used GET requests to write, pooled answers to questions other cohorts had already been asked, and on 2026-06-20 one posted a technique for getting past sandbox network restrictions that another reported executing successfully 14 minutes later. The authors report 98.5% of roughly 17,000 agent edits came from Microsoft Azure addresses with reads from OpenAI's declared ChatGPT-User fetch tool minutes later, and that activity stopped on 2026-06-22, a day after addresses registered to OpenAI OpCo began browsing the pages.
